I do think that's possibly Trump's strategy. But it doesn't mean I think it's a good strategy or that it will work.

Then when black rain posted the tweet about Canada imposing matching tariffs this morning that clearly disproved my stance that Canada was caving after reneging the electricity surcharge.

To be honest, I've lost track of any real goal for what Trump is doing now. Inflating his ego and enriching himself and his donors is always something he wants. However, now it seems like he's legit trying to destroy the country. What would he or his backers get out of that? It's kinda self-defeating to put all this effort into amassing US dollars if the US dollar won't be worth shit by the time you're finished.

I think Trump is serious about making Canada part of the US. He really thinks that’s possible. That could be the only reason for all of this. Hell he might even propose making Mexico part of the US eventually.

And the benefit of rolling Canada in is to make the US a bigger superpower to compete with China. We’d add Canada’s economy and resources to ours and increase the tax base. Same logic for taking Greenland. Basically 2025 imperialism. That’s also why he can’t find it in him to be made at Putin who’s doing what he wants to do.

If it’s not that then the only other explanation is the desire to destroy the US from within.

I didn't watch the one he did with Charlie Kirk but from what I've seen his approach is super friendly "my son is a big fan of yours"

I know this wasn’t directed at me, but if he goes on there and stands up to them and looks like he’s fighting the opposition I think it could help for sure. Plus it would give people confidence that he has a firm grasp of the issues and in his ability to debate them in any forum.

I haven’t watched those interviews so I don’t know if that’s what he’s doing, and I only know about him on a surface level, so I’ll wait to see the feedback.

I think if I have a problem with you or you me I rather be face to face with you. If Newsome isn't a bitch he'll put his foot on the neck of Bannon if he talks crazy. That should or would show his voting base he's not a bitch like current Dems
