I had no interest in politics til my mid 20s bc I felt like it was a waste of time. So as I got older I made it a point to educate myself come to realize it's actually an entertaining ass waste of time.

I discuss it bc it's entertaining and interesting.

I don't vote bc it's a waste of time in my opinion.

The logic isn't the problem it's your interpretation of it. Have a good one Mike.

My point is, it's up to black parents to teach black children about their own history. That's my point.

With many folks teaching things online, X, Ticktok more and more information about the greatness of black people will continue to come out.

I've learned more in this time about black folks than I did back in the gap when I was in school and those books had slavery and Jim Crow in it.

And let's be honest, they don't go into depth of what Jim Crow was all about and slavery.

The textbook gives a Disney side of the slavery era and Jim Crow era. You have to go outside of 'school' to learn about the real depth of these eras of history along with other eras of black history.

You're missing the point. I'm not taking about teaching black history to black people I'm talking about making sure everyone else knows the history. Yes, the Asians cared about non-Asians knowing the history. That's why they had tons of initiatives in place to raise awareness. You think they would have got that money if they only made sure the history was known within their own community?
 
Letitia James of New York and 11 other state attorneys general said Thursday that they would sue over a cost-cutting initiative that had afforded young aides to Elon Musk broad access to the federal government’s most fundamental computer systems.

President Trump’s administration calls the program the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, though it is merely a unit within the executive branch, and its work has shaken Washington as its workers demand access to vast networks of sensitive information. Mr. Musk and his staff’s ability to access that information, including bank account and Social Security data, is “unlawful,” the attorneys general said in a news release.

“The president does not have the power to give away our private information to anyone he chooses, and he cannot cut federal payments approved by Congress,” the statement said. “This level of access for unauthorized individuals is unlawful, unprecedented and unacceptable.”

Thursday’s move was made in concert with the attorneys general of Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, Rhode Island, Vermont. It is Ms. James’s most recent effort to counteract parts of Mr. Trump’s sweeping agenda.

Her office, along with a coalition of 18 states, challenged Mr. Trump’s executive order attempting to end birthright citizenship. This week, she warned New York hospitals that complying with a White House executive order seeking to end gender-affirming medical care for young people could violate state law.
