I'm going to push back on this because while the Democratic party is by no means perfect, the opportunity for us to make real political progress would have been much easier with them in power. The thing that is talked about so little is that the era of Biden/Pelosi/Schumer is coming to an end. Look at whose becoming the power players within the Democratic Party. Look at who in the party is becoming the most visible and I'm not talking about Kamala. If you're really paying attention the ideology has already begun to change. My hope is that 2-4 years from now the opportunity is still there.

Duly noted. I do see ppl like Jasmine Crockett being more vocal about what's happening. My personal issue is that the Democrats left the decision in the voters' hands while they had the power to implement policies that could've prevented this. They work in the government, not us. They hear the talk behind the scenes, they seen the MAGA Republicans making power moves, they seen the Supreme Court show leniency to Trump and his cause. Once Trump got voted out the first time and tried to derail the transition of power, they should've knew then to prepare themselves for it happening again on a different front. We can't do anything but express our opinion and cast our vote. They got comfortable and complacent with our votes and thought they were gonna win again because Trump got stains on his jacket, not acknowledging that ppl started seeing cracks in their own foundation for the past four years. They had to learn this lesson... and yeah, we gotta suffer as a nation for that lesson to be taught.

I'm referring to establishment politicians of either party. Those are the folks who run their parties. Sure some within the party sound good and say the right things but they always fall in line without fail and at the end of the day serve the objectives of the establishment.

Question, what has any of these "representatives" actually done? 90%+of these politicians are lawyers or polticos who were selected by lobbies. They don't allow real people in these positions. Only time I see them get any air is when they're co-signing what the majority wants

One I didn't know lawyers weren't real people. Also there are plenty of people in Congress who don't have a law degree. Lucy McBeth became a congresswoman after her son Jordan Davis's death. Raphael Warnock is a pastor, Lauren Underwood was a nurse, Gwen Moore was a city worker, Ilhan Omar was a nutritionist, hell AOC was bartending before becoming a congresswoman.

Two co-signing what the majority wants is literally what politicians are supposed to do.
