Kamala would have kept shit like how it was, black men not getting the jobs on the construction side of the game, etc. buddy brought up the situation about a white man getting a job over a black man which is silly, as if white men wasn't getting jobs over black men under Biden but he didn't say anything about that. He wanna put that shit on Trump when the shit been going on under Biden and Kamala. the DEI shit was under Biden and Kamala. FBAs were the least group to get anything and the shit was because of George Floyd.

Going back to trying to create an analogy for this... if someone jumped me and my friend let it happen, of course I'd be mad at the attacker. However, me and my friend are gonna have A LOT to talk about. "Both sides" takes more critical thinking than one would assume. You have to weigh in who did more harm to you while also acknowledging what harm was done to you by the other side. I myself haven't really thought about how detrimental to Black Americans the Dems were til this recent election. We as Black Americans don't talk about or act on what's really beneficial for us, which takes a lot of critical thinking and studying of ourselves and our sovereign economy. Me and others on here like @Knock_Twice and @Disanthrope thought about that and came to our own conclusions about the ppl that were supposedly gonna give us what we're asking for. Both parties, and the entire gov't in general, have to be held accountable. Granted, Trump/MAGA gotta take a lot more, which is were me and the rest of #CouchGang might part ways on. But the Dems' refusal to adjust their ideology for the changing American consensus and their collective incompetence is what got us here in the first place.

Not doubting dems role in it. And I’m not going to defend their actions. I can just draw a distinction between the two. I’ll never say the dems are perfect, but I will call out disingenuous statements.

They could have stopped sending weapons to Israel when they were blocking humanitarian aid into Gaza. In fact they threatened to do so. WHO said Gaza was on the brink of famine. Biden demanded certain conditions be met by Israel and set a deadline, threatening to pause weapons. By the deadline, the conditions had not been met, and weapons shipments never paused or slowed down. There is a reason Israel thought they could do whatever they want and this goes beyond red/blue. It's the one thing they come together on consistently.

Then they paused shipment of 2000 lb/500 lb bombs ahead of Israels invasion into Rafah citing civilian casualty concerns. Civilians still ended up getting killed and wounded.

They could have stopped the shipments if they wanted to

No I don't agree. He's saying Biden didn't have a choice but to honor the weapons agreement set years ago. But they had legal standing to pause them over humanitarian aid blockades and didn't. Therefore he is accountable for the Israel genocide.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like you're outlining the differences between this administration and the last one. Neither are great or acceptable but one was status quo where the idea is "you guys need to figure this shit out" and the other is "burn it all down and we'll eat all the shit".

That's not "both sides are the same"
