COMMUNITY United States Politics Thread: Trump's Second Term

This is a downright lie like a lot of the right-wing bullshit you parrot on this board
You fucking moron, that policy was not made for BLACK AMERICANS, they don't have policies made for us and that's why the fuck they lost

I'm on the black wing. Your lies about my position are ways to cope with picking cotton for anti black policy

This isn't true brother

Just off the top of my head

First time home buyer money
Child tax credit

There are a few other key things I'm missing but these issues would've had a direct impact to "FBA" but it's reparations or nothing. These things didn't solely benefit black people which seems to be the issue for FBA. So if you don't have any kids or a first time home buyer, you probably thinking well, this shit don't impact me but it could impact someone else you know that's black.

That's something to not withhold a vote for imo
For one, those are just band aids to cover the real reason we need reparations. A cpl extra K a month/year isn't gonna decolonize our land and reconnect us with our true birthright. And like I said, it wasn't just FBAs they ignored. I read somewhere that the Israel situation was a primary factor in ppl not voting or voting against Kamala. She kept pushing Biden's agenda which was already problematic for Palestinians and pro-Palestine voters. Blue collar workers, pro-lifers (c'est moi), faith based voters and many other groups all had to pardon Biden/Kamala's backs for four years. That little -2% margin Trump won by was a big difference, and that was due to Kamala and the Dems' pandering and empty promises.

Raise your hand if you ever heard of an illegal immigrant buying a home in the US.

You gotta produce a social security number and secure a loan you stupid motherfucker.
Houseboy.

The Democrats did not have policy for black Americans

You can't Coon or troll your way out of that fact

All you cowards can do is deflect and pretend

You can tell he was like a pig in shit when Trump had that soundbite the other day lol. Posted an Ann Coulter tweet too. What's next, a David Duke tweet?
I did post those sound bites in here

How come the Democrats don't speak that way infamous?

You're a Latino so you don't really give a shit

@Infamous114 @SneakDZA @a.mann

Have you ever asked yourself why don't the Democrats have policy exclusive for black Americans

and have you guys ever asked yourselves why that's okay with you?

Why are you talking about Democrats? The Republicans have the majority in the House, the Senate and the white house. And truth be told.. the Supreme Court. Go get em!

As per the first time home buyer thing...

Kamala Harris’s $25,000 down payment assistance proposal represents a significant opportunity for immigrant families to achieve the dream of homeownership. By providing targeted financial support, this initiative addresses some of the key barriers that have kept many immigrants from buying homes. It builds on previous efforts to make the housing market more inclusive and equitable, offering a concrete pathway for immigrants to build wealth, gain stability, and fully participate in American life. For immigrant families, this proposal could be the key to unlocking the doors to their own homes and, by extension, their future in the United States.

Kamala's plan was specifically for immigrant families. Like I said, a band aid... and not even one for us.

the rest of your post is fair but I think it's wild... insane... for you to not feel the same way about Kamala Biden and the Democratic Party

Were they not actively trying to destroy your folks as well?

:huh2:

They were. You know they were sister.

I...i.. just don't understand how you can not see the Democrats in the same light

Trump's lip service is still an acknowledgment that black Americans are distinct from other people

The Democrats refuse to distinguish us and absolutely refuse to do anything exclusive for us...you don't see that as them trying to DESTROY us?

We are on a movement to push LINEGAGE based policies. The damn executive acknowledging that the 14th amendment was made for us and not for everyone to abuse is something he can't walk back. We're going to use that as the catalyst for lineage based policies that the Democrats will never ever offer
But I do Dis I don't know how you keep missing how I feel about Democrats. Biden is an old white liberal who fucked us over. Same with many old white liberals. My vote for Kamala was just a means to keep Trump racist ass out of the WH. Again the party is to used as way to gain political power by voting people into office.

Trump's acknowledgement of lineage does negate the fact that he wants to dismantle every piece of civil rights legislation that the very people you and I come from fought hard for. He wants to erase the history of what Blacks have contributed to this along with price previous generations had to pay for merely existing in this country. How you overlook that is beyond me.

Is Trump's acknowledgement of lineage more important then protecting the legacy of Black people??

Even though we directly benefit,
The idea that if policy or legislation imposed by Democrats doesn’t say “Just For Black People “ makes that policy and legislation illegitimate lets you know these guys are not serious

The same when Trump and Republicans revoke and eliminate policies , programs executive orders etc.

“Oh it’s was more such & such who were getting it ,,,,”

Yes, but the black people who were benefiting from these policies and programs are negatively impacted harder when you needlessly and suddenly take them away

But these guys don’t truly care to even think beyond what they have been basically programmed to think .
Their brains can’t handle the fact they have been played

That it specifically targets immigrant families only. Btw, your source is OnlineVisas. Of course they would talk about how it impacts immigrants
"Specifically", meaning primarily or being top priority. According to the same article,

Kamala Harris’s proposal is part of her broader economic agenda for the 2024 presidential campaign. It aims to provide substantial financial assistance to first-time and first-generation homebuyers. Specifically, it targets individuals and families who have paid their rent on time for two years and are looking to buy their first home. The proposal offers up to $25,000 in down payment support, with more generous assistance available for first-generation homebuyers, meaning those whose parents do not currently own a home

This initiative is crucial for immigrant families who often face hurdles such as lower average incomes, lack of credit history, and discrimination in the housing market. By easing the financial burden of purchasing a home, Harris’s proposal could significantly increase homeownership rates among immigrants, providing them with the opportunity to build equity, stabilize their housing situation, and integrate more fully into American society.

This plan was created with immigrants in mind. Those qualifying factors might apply to a lot of poor Black ppl, but there are Black ppl in the upper class that don't need this but still want reparations. Besides, that program is already implemented in some states, including here in AZ... without the immigrant caveat.
