I dunno, as much as I’m not a fan of the Code Orange’s Second Reign, all these FAA firings and stuff don’t have much impact on what happens in an air traffic control tower. Not that soon anyways. People need to stop speculating and let the damn investigation happen.

How the hell does firing the people in charge of keeping planes from crashing into helicopters not have much impact on a plane crashing into a helicopter?

Looking at who Trump actually fired, the majority of these people have little to no involvement in air traffic control or flight procedures.

The head of the TSA and the Aviation Safety Committee focuses on safety within airports. The FAA security officers don’t have a direct impact on air traffic and the hiring freeze doesn’t affect air traffic controllers because it’s a public safety role. Just like immigration enforcement and national security those roles are exempt from the freeze. Also even if all this somehow was the case aviation proseedures don’t just change overnight with a new regime. These things take nearly years… so Trump being on the job for a week or so isn’t going to impact something like this so soon.

Trump being Trump doesn’t help but just like everyone else who believes they’re so damn smart he spews bullshit without the facts. I’ve worked in military Aviation the last 18 years, I swear to yall it doesn’t work like this lol.
