I missed that. I tried watching the Ubisoft, Xnox/Bethesda and Square Enix showcases and they were all boring as fuck.

I've never watched E3 live before and I wish I hadn't started now. No wonder Sony don't fuck with them. They need to chuck the whole event in the bin - it's not relevant anymore

Yeah the shows have been quite underwhelming this year and one might argue that the entire concept is from an era which has passed - marketing wise there is barely any reason for developers to rent a booth etc when they can reach their base online - but I’m probably getting old/washed, main reason why I still follow some of the shows are due to the crew/Dutch journos that report it, they used to rent a villa in the Hollywood hills and party in LA during the show and are continuing that tradition but online on twitch…

If you’re a Nintendo fan you might want to check out their show tomorrow or Wednesday cause word is that they’re going all out with Metroid etc…

E3 is definitely of a bygone era. There's really no need for it in 2021. I ain't been on Nintendo since the original Gameboy so I'll probably pass on that
