Anything that can reach our planet is so much further in intelligence to us we'll look like bugs to them.

There would be no interest in helping us advance.

We've only been on Earth for a very short period of time. Outside life could have visited Earth multiple times and have no idea we've even spread. The might just be getting an alert that the planet is getting dirtier and they'd just show up to clean up the planet and leaving again. Essentially our extermination

White people come to Africa to film commercials about feeding the starving so it’s possible they could come to help as the concept of treating lower life forms as nuisances or pets or entertainment could be uniquely a human one for all we know


It’s possible outside life still hasn’t discovered earth or still have no way to reach earth or they simply don’t care to

Never know the possibilities

I’ll just go with we’re so small anything we do in our galaxy cluster doesnt really matter to anything else

One alien could be the size of Jupiter for all we know lol

Our oldest radio waves have traveled over 100 light years away spherically. There's a chance a civilization at least as technologically advanced has picked them up already. Proxima Centauri b is the closest planet to us that could support life, and is only 4 light years away in the Alpha Centauri solar system. If an advanced civilization lives there (doubtful), they may have picked up those radio waves.

And it doesn't have to be there. Within 100 light years there's a bunch of planets where life could have developed.

Did y’all know that the foundation for LED lights and fiber optic cable was created in 1880, but it was only around 100 years later, that it was commercially distributed?

Everything we have that’s normal to us now, the military has 100 years of ahead of it. And it’s only when it can be dumbed down and commercialized for profit, do we find out about it’s existence and applications.

So consider that, and then consider the space travel you know about

I was watching some Neil degrsse shit before, and I think people grossly misunderstand everything that has to go right for us to actually have an encounter with another species.


Like the main thing is that our technology is barely 1000 years old. It's only the year 2025

In the year 1025 our tech was trash like trash compared to what it is now. And I highly doubt it humans will still be around in the year we would call 3025. Either nuclear war, or from consuming all of natural resources to the point we go extinct.

Either way the window for another species to meet humans is like 2,000 tops....

The planet is billions of years old
2,000 years is less than a couple seconds in a day.

That's the window. So unless they started to come here before we even evolved into an intelligent species that's prolly no chance we'll still be here if it was our radio waves that attract them.

Our lifespan and the age of our species doesn't work in our favor. We'll be long gone before anything comes here for us.

Again the planet is billions of years old, it prolly takes millions of years to travel between civilizations. And if billions is off, it definitely takes longer than 10k years...

And again...our tech is only a couple hundred years old at best. And we're already making contingencies for the end of the planet because we're that self destructive.

We're not gonna be here another 5-10k years. Time isn't working in our favor. They're never get here in time, and we're not smart enough to even get to Mars safely yet
 
After seeing more and more of the places, our tax dollars been going, I will fuck around and go exempt.

Those all those government officials or money laundering at the highest level

Seeing their salaries ballon to 20 times their net worth before they take those positions is sickening
