This isn't something I didn't know, it was something I just forgot I knew somehow, thius making myself look dumb af.

I bought this nice phone case that was magnetic on the back so I could click it to things. I go to show off how good the magnet is and throw it up against stainless steel table with doors. Shit hits the floor and my friend starts laughing I'm like wtf did I just do that, I know stainless steal isn't magnetic.

This is misinformation. She's right about the metal expanding when it gets hot, that's thermal expansion. However, stainless steel doesn't have "pores" and the water is behaving like that because the pan is so hot the water immediately turns into a gas, which the water floats on.
