The Official World Politics Thread

Probably her closet full of proverbial black bodies. The pandering doesn't help either acting like she listens to Cardi B. Also are we supposed to give a shit about her owning 50 pairs of Converse? Us as a people are NOT dumb. She hasn't spoke on ANYTHING about tangibles for the black community, and she's not going to.

Oh by the way, yesterday Kamala said that slavery doesn't matter, which is crazy considering that her husband might be Jewish. (Heard he was, but not sure.) She's not going to tell him the holocaust doesn't matter. TRUST.

Lol

Bruh. You’re biased as fuck.

How on earth do you take from her speech that “slavery doesn’t matter”?

How on earth do you except a person saying that slavery doesn't matter when your ancestors went through, and us as a community as still reeling from it to this very day? Especially from someone that is half you?

How can I be biased when I and others laid out evidence that she is not on black's people side? It's not biased when it's.................FACTS.

Can you answer my question in English, please?

Let me make it easier for you. Listen to ALL of it and don't respond until you do:

I do what I want, friend.

Question tho - does this video explicitly describe how Kamala Harris believes that “slavery doesn’t matter”.

That is the question at hand.

Can ANYBODY vouch for black caesar and confirm that he is not a Russian troll? It's a 12 second clip man, just listen to what she said, there is no mention of slavery at all.

Stop fabricating reality it completey undermines whatever point you are attempting to make.

Lol he been around a long time since IC days hes good. U all gotta stop with this russian troll shit everytime someone holds a diff view.

But i do agree that vid doesnt even seem to remotely insinuate that she thinks slavery doesnt matter theres just not enough context in a 12 sec vid even if she did say it verbatim.

Graham: Trump Likes The Idea Of Using ‘Military Force’ In Venezuela

President Donald Trump mused about the idea of using “military force” to help bolster the U.S.’ current attempt to mold regime change in Venezuela via diplomatic and economic methods, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) told Axios Sunday.

“What do you think about using military force?” Graham relayed that the President asked him.

“And I said, ‘Well, you need to go slow on that, that could be problematic,’” Graham remembered.

“And he said, ‘Well, I’m surprised, you want to invade everybody,’” Trump replied, prompting Graham to laugh and say “I don’t want to invade everybody, I only want to use the military when our national security interests are threatened.”

As Axios points out, the lack of defense officials left who push back against Trump’s instincts coupled with a string of domestic failures may be prompting the President to look overseas for possible wins.

Beto Sounds Lukewarm On 2020: ‘I Don’t Want To Raise Expectations’

Democratic superstar Beto O’Rourke is sounding less and less enthusiastic about a presidential run, even as his would-be competitors announce their intentions and construct campaign infrastructure.

According to a Friday Politico report, he said that his decision could still “potentially” be months away. He added that he’s still feeling the effects of his grueling Senate race against Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) just months ago.

“There’s an exhaustion after an effort like that, that I’m learning is hard to recover from,” he said. “You don’t snap back.”

O’Rourke has also been just considering the prospect of a run for far less time than most of the other Democrats in the field.

“I just am not there to do that,” he told Politico. “I just don’t want to raise expectations or commit people if I’m not committed and if I haven’t made that decision yet.”

“Have I satisfied my commitment to this country and our democracy? That’s the question that we’re trying to think through right now,” he added. “Is there something that I can contribute beyond what I have already done that the country needs right now. Do I need to be back in the arena?”
