Turns Out The Guy Featured on Dating Website for Trump Supporters Has a Child Sex Felony Conviction

In the last few days, you might’ve heard about Trump.dating, the new straight-people-only online service to help out Donald Trump fans who are single and ready to mingle. For the last few days, the site prominently featured the North Carolina conservative activists you see in the picture above: William Barrett Riddleberger and his wife Jodi Riddleberger.

However, the site has a new featured couple now, and that may or may not have something to do with the fact that Mr. Riddleberger is a convicted felon.

WRAL News reported that Mr. Riddleberger’s state records show he was charged in 1995 for videotaping himself having sex with a 15-year-old girl. Riddleberger was 25 at the time, and he was convicted of taking indecent liberties with a child.

Riddleberger told local media “I’ve already paid my debt for something I did 25 years ago” with regard to his criminal history, though he wouldn’t say much more than that when asked further questions.

CNN: Mueller Team Looking At Kushner Contacts With Foreign Investors

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team is looking into Jared Kushner’s contacts with foreign investors during the presidential transition after President Donald Trump won the election, CNN reported Monday evening.

It was previously reported that the special counsel’s team was looking at Kushner’s contacts with Russians, but the new report from CNN indicates that Mueller is now looking at Kushner’s contacts with other foreign individuals as well.

Mueller is specifically looking at the Kushner Cos. building at 666 Fifth Avenue in New York City, the family’s troubled Manhattan office building, according to CNN. Kushner reportedly spoke to Qatari and Chinese investors about the building, and Mueller’s team is looking at those interactions, per CNN.

The special counsel’s team has not yet requested documents from the Kushner Cos. or interviews with its executives, per CNN. Kushner’s lawyer, Abbe Lowell, said that his client had not been asked about the building.

“Another anonymous source with questionable motives now contradicts the facts — in all of Mr. Kushner’s extensive cooperation with all inquiries, there has not been a single question asked nor document sought on the 666 building or Kushner Co. deals. Nor would there be any reason to question these regular business transactions, Lowell said in a statement to CNN.

As Mueller’s probe heats up, Kushner has come under intense scrutiny for his investments and foreign contacts. He has submitted several updates to his financial disclosure forms, and has reportedly yet to receive his security clearance.

Report: Senior HHS Official On Leave Over Conspiratorial, Racist Social Media Posts

Jon Cordova, the principal deputy assistant secretary for administration at the Department of Health and Human Services, has been placed on leave in the wake of revelations about conspiratorial and racist posts he shared on social media, CNN reported Tuesday.

“Mr. Cordova is currently on administrative leave while we look into this issue further,” an unnamed agency spokesperson told CNN.

Cordova was suspended after CNN’s KFile team asked HHS about the posts, the network reported.

Cordova’s bio on the HHS website notes that he joined the administration in February 2017, shortly after President Donald Trump’s inauguration, and that his current duties include “providing direct support to the Assistant Secretary for Administration for HHS and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Office of Human Relations, Office of the Chief Information Officer, Office of Security and Strategic Information, Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance and Operations Office and the Program Support Center.”

Among the posts flagged by CNN: a story Cordova shared on Facebook in July 2016 falsely alleging that Khizr Khan was a “Muslim Brotherhood agent” and “a Muslim plant working with the Hillary Clinton campaign.” In March of that year, he shared a false story alleging Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), then competing with Donald Trump for the Republican nomination for President, “frequented prostitutes,” in CNN’s words, among other claims.

In August 2015, Cordova shared a photograph of an African American man holding a photoshopped protest sign that read “No mother should have to fear for her son’s life every time he robs a store,” the report said. In a two-year-old tweet, according to a CNN screenshot, he shared a meme comparing MoveOn.org and Black Lives Matter protesters to Nazi Brown Shirts.
