At this point, Mueller is the short game. If they get Trump out, Pence will step in and he will win in 2020. You think Republican voters are going to judge themselves for electing a crooked, lying reality star business man? Hell no! They, with the help of Fox News, will find a way to spin it so they are not culpable for putting him in the White House.
Then they'll feel just fine voting in Pence in 2020. And Pence will win because he'll have the base and the never Trumpers. And Democrats would have wasted time getting Trump up outta there and not be ready.
Just focus on the things @AZTG and @313 Wayz said and stick to legislating and gearing up for 2020. Show everybody that the Democrats are the adults in the room.
