The timeline for that would be tough to pull off. Even a holocaust survivor would be pushing it if they set the movie in present times. There's no reason to make this change honestly. If they want black representation, use a black X-Men character, there are plenty. If they want a villain specifically, then Apocalypse would be a better choice for a black actor. Give us an actual good Age of Apocalypse move with Denzel doing Apoc similarly to Brolin doing Thanos.

Hulu has opted not to proceed with Marvel’s Ghost Rider, its planned live-action series starring Gabriel Luna, I have learned.

Hulu in May picked up two new live-action series from Disney sibling Marvel Television, Ghost Rider and Helstrom, to premiere in 2020. While Marvel’s Helstrom is on track, I hear Hulu and the Ghost Rider team had reached a creative impasse which could not be resolved, leading to the streamer’s decision not to move forward with the series.

Sony Pictures Entertainment and The Walt Disney Studios jointly announced today that Marvel Studios and its President Kevin Feige will produce the third film in the SPIDER-MAN HOMECOMING series, starring Tom Holland. The film is scheduled for release on July 16, 2021. As part of the arrangement, Spider-Man will also appear in a future Marvel Studios film. Amy Pascal will also produce through Pascal Pictures, as she has on the first two Holland-led films.

I was curious about this also. It looks like it’s just one film, possibly ending the MCU trilogy. So do they renegotiate afterwards for him to do more Spider-Man films in the MCU? I’m guessing they still wanna have him as a main avenger. All that Norman Osborn shit probably went out the window the moment the initial deal fell apart. Does he appear in other films in btw now and 2021?
