They moving all resources to work on that movie and see what to do next. They probably have something in mind and if there is indeed another series it'll probably involvea timeskip of some kind.

Dont need a time skip though. The end of z is a great place to start.

From what I've seen, it's not going to be a hiatus. The series is ending, and at this time there are no intentions to continue it or create a follow-up series. That said they did confirm that the Dragonball franchise is not ending. So who knows what that means.

I been trying to keep up with herms98 twitter, and from what he says through translating all that fucking Japanese shit, is that super is basically over and when dragon ball returns it'll probably go by a new name. Dragonball something something something. It'll be imteresting to see how shit ends though. I bet it ends with jiren winning and making the most simple wish
