This is why the DCEU will continue to suck. The execs don't get the problem. Cavil was fine as Superman, and even if you didn't like him, you have to admit removing him is certainly not the first step that needed to be made if they wanted to right the ship. Now there are rumors that they are consider Michael B Jordan for the role. That's stupid. Do they really think race bending Superman will help anything?

They need to understand you can’t just copy what makes Marvel money. They see Avengers blow up so they rush out Justice League with all characters. They see the lightheartedness of Marvel and do reshoots to make Justice League lighter. Now they see Black Panther make a ton of money so they want a black Superman.
They don’t understand that what made those movies great is that they were authentic and created new lanes. That’s what DC needs to do.

I was watching justice league the other night and of was alright but with cavill leaving and the ending cutscene with death stroke a lot of shit is being left in the air. You heard led luthor they want a league of their own dammit!!! It has to happen!! Man they could replace supes with Shazam(captain marvel ) and just say superman went off world to handle some crisis or some shit. Fuck it get a replacement for cavill. I hate to see him go but what else can they do? 3 superman movies and the only thing we got out them was zod, lexluthor, and doomsday. They could've had a man of steel sequel with braniac or another world building movie where superman takes Bruno Manheim and Intergang backed up by Apocalypse technology that would've been dope.

This thing fell apart like I said it would. Should have connected Nolan's Batman to the DCU, did better with Superman Returns, not fucked up Green Lantern and made the Wonder Woman movie like they planned back then.
