The Snyder films didn't necessarily help him due to the fight he had with the studio, but prior to playing cyborg, Ray fisher was only working on stage plays. Cyborg was his big screen debut and was the reason he was so vocal for the snydercut because his arc was almost completely removed in the whedon version.
