So he's 2/5

And I wanted to be sure so I didn't give him credit for someone else

I did enjoy the suicide squad though.

For me

Peacemaker
Suicide squad
Gotg 1
Gotg 3
Gotg 2
:huh2:
You got suicide squad over guardians or is that list random order?

Really? All his work outside of Gotg 2 has been pretty great imo

Some of the things that I've seen folks complain about other comicbook movies, ie villain, GOTG 1 had it. Probably the most overrated MCU film to date.

GOTG 2 was trash.

3 was good but not this masterpiece it was hyped up to be.

Still gotta watch Peacemaker.

TSS, imo, is his best. Maybe he's more a DC guy...... :js4: ...at least I hope.

Surprised he's sticking with her if it's going to be a reboot

Gunn hated the Wonder Woman 3 script so much he just removed Patty like that but keeping the same actress lol

You didn't enjoy any of the GOTG?
As a complete body of work, it really feels like it should've been better. As an afterthought, it seems like the guardians as a whole was a way to introduce comedy or a more lighthearted offering compared to other MCU films.

I loved the actors that portrayed the characters, but the stories as a whole just didn't really do it for me and they felt more like connective tissue to get us to Endgame

Covid happens then shifts all the release dates of the movies that followed, and by the time it's released, I've lost the little investment I made into the trilogy.

Sounds like you're more of a DC guy which is cool. I love all this shit so I'm hyped either way. I get what you're saying about the villain in GOTG 1. It was silly but I still liked the overall story Gunn told.

In regards to Gal Gadot continuing as #WonderWoman:

Pre-strikes, #WonderWoman3 was supposed to shoot this summer with a script by Patty Jenkins that Gal really liked. Jenkins was obviously returning to direct, but James Gunn scrapped her script entirely because he thought her take didn’t fit with where he wanted to take Wonder Woman in the DCU. This led to Jenkins no longer being involved in the project in ANY capacity.

James Gunn, Peter Safran AND Gal Gadot will develop a NEW version of Wonder Woman 3, from scratch. (Post-strikes, obviously.) At the end of the day it won’t really be “WONDER WOMAN 3”, but a reboot starring the same actress. Some things we saw in her previous movies will stay the same, some will change.
