I mean to be real The Rock was campaigning to play Black Adam for 15 years. He gets it and “transforms” his body according to him, the movie flops and they kick him out. I’d be tight too lmao. Never a dull moment in the DC Universe
 
I'm ok with cavil being let go. He's getting too old for the role. Looking at him in that post credit scene you can see the age in his face. Gunn was right to want another actor for a 10 year run. I think they should use cavil as earth-2 superman

Also the reboot for dcu is needed. In don't know why people are upset the Snyder verse been dead especially since the Snyder cut is t even canon then there's the hanada planned mess. The chronology was messy. I never liked Batman being older than everybody else and near the end of his career their universe was rushed and they just slapped black Adam and the justice society in there with no set uo.DC never really had a clear steady road map so this clean up was much needed.

RDJ was like 43 when IM dropped. Now if Gunn told him he’d come back in like 10 years to do Kingdom Come, okay. But dude is 39 and looks in his 20s. Depending on how he ages he’ll be 50 looking mid 30s

I don't think hiring a 39 year old for. 10 year plan sounds like a good idea. Tony stark and Clark Kent are two different animals add to the fact that Tony stark was destined to be killed off at the end of his run. I think actors should be recast when they get too old for a rolesalso these actors don't want to be oidgeon hiked into playing these characters instead of going in to do other projects. Anthony mackee Zoe Saldana and Batista were complaining about this. It's not like cavil was banging at the doors of Warner studios to let him back in he was pushed there by the rock.Look at this scene he looks older than he did in the previous movies.

Lol a him looking too old for a nigga to fly with his arms out and punch stuff. Ain't like superman doing real deal stunts and fight choreography. The cg does most of the heavy lifting

Ain't dude pushing 40, if they rebooting the franchise then it's best to get someone younger who can go for the next decade. Since they doing that with Superman they might as well do it with wonder woman, aquaman and the rest of the justice league.

thats the fuckin problem they too busy trying to plan out a franchise when they cant even get ONE good gotdamn movie on the board first.

Start off with one fuckin good movie and go from there. If you cant make one worth a damn what makes you think you ready for a franchise?

Is Pattinson's Batman movie not in this universe?
 
I didn't watch Wonder Woman or Aquaman and was really disappointed in Batman vs Superman and Justice League.

If they are rebooting then The Batman is a good starting point they can go off of.
