were going back to normal in Holland next week, following several other countries but as one of the first EU countries. a 100 film n documentary type of events occured the last few months - political tides have completely changed, lot of corruption and conflict of interests have been and are currently being exposed - which is pretty damn amazing. In a nutshell:

- due to the massive amount of infections - half a million a week in a country of only 17 million people - in correlation with zero Impact on the hospital admissions has lead the min of health and Dutch cdc to treat covid as the common cold (not influenza, but a simple cold ) . The infection rate is and was so high that due to the quarantine rules, literally a couple of million not sick employees stayed home, which lead to destabilization of several industries, for example : less public transport/trains because the machinists were all home.

- the Dutch CDC now also distinguishes hospital admissions of people by and WITH Corona, turns out over half the admitted patients are people that enter the hospital cause of a broken leg and happen to test positive inside the hospital… If you said that shit last year you were considered a conspiracy theorist who spread misinfo over here… this is a huge change in policy.

- The vaccines don’t work as advertised and not against omicron. omicron however is so extremely mild that vaccination isn’t necessary at all - which never was the case in the first place for 99% of the world population.

so yeah, I’m relieved, I didn’t succumb to the national - and global - peer pressure to ‘get vaccinated to protect myself and others‘ and saw straight through all that bullshit.

5 months later the government gives out N95 for free. 3 masks per person.

I won’t even go digging for them posts where me and @TheNightKing went back and forth. Breh was telling me how dinner with your family was more dangerous then being at Walmart.

Then delta/omni dropped :yikes1:

I was really in a zone in this thread. You and Dos too. The official narrative had niggas scared to grocery shop. I was going on vacation. Follow the science!
I swear you can’t help but to invoke my screen name. But since we’re here, let’s add the context.

In that debate, you said it didn’t make sense that Walmarts are still open yet the CDC was discouraging people from gathering with family at the holidays. That was the catalyst to our debate.

I stated it did make sense because you were a lot less likely to catch Covid from an infected person with whom you cross paths with in Walmart for less than a minute than an infected family member with whom you stay indoors with for hours on end.

And that’s still the case today. People are catching it from school, work, and in the majority of cases family members. Settings where they are gathered together for an extended period of time.

Now where was the lie?

@ChicagoFigure ? @Iceberg_Taylor ? @DOS_patos ?
