I know that comes off as condescending, but those are the reasons I’m hearing. I’m really curious if there’s any merit to the skepticism other than a general distrust of the powers that be or people portending to know more than the scientists involved in making the vaccine.

Not your opinion, and not “well usually”. I mean specific to this vaccine, what happened to make you skeptical?

My wife works at the hospital and she's getting hers on Thursday. They have two rounds. They get the shot and then they get the second dose 3 weeks later.
