The FDA, under the Trump administration, is NOT "the gold standard of regulators". Trump has gutted the FDA and inserted his picks...which effectively does away with regulations. We all know Trump is very anti-regulation.

We've seen how the FDA has misled and covered up information during this pandemic.

They keep touting this vaccine as 90-95% "effective" but if you actually read the info from the studies, you'll see the word "efficacy" used. There's a difference between efficacy and effective...look it up. Of course in a *controlled* study of only a few thousand people, the vaccine looks to have a high "effectiveness" rate but it stands to reason those same results won't hold up in the general population. There are far too many variables among those with and without COVID symptoms and there are mutations. Further, this is a *novel* Coronavirus...novel means new...virologists are stll trying to learn how this disease works. Do you REALLY think there's a viable vaccine for this nine months in?

FDA and the dreaded Monsanto work hand in hand. So yes, the FDA can not be fully trusted.
I will say it is the Gold standard, but its the personnel that have monetary benefits invested which then corrupts that standard at certain points. Other than that they are thorough from what i know to avoid many lawsuits. cuz everyone knows ...we americans will sue our own momma under the right circumstances.

from concept to market can take at least 10 yrs. its incredible that within one year they can come up with this and be ok putting it out like that after such short trials.

shit we dont know much about the metabolism within the body, toxicty, how it counter acts with other drugs or the long term damage to organs or the body in general.

i wasnt thinking once and went into a pilot plant early during an audit. for some reason i wasnt piking up on the verbal hints to leave immediately by the employees.
yeah....it wasnt a good day for me.

Hundreds of bodies are still stored in freezer trucks at a disaster morgue set up during New York City’s coronavirus surge in the spring, according to the city’s Office of Chief Medical Examiner.

Many of the 650 bodies at the disaster morgue on the Brooklyn waterfront are of people whose families can’t be located or can’t afford a proper burial, officials said. The unit tasked with identifying bodies is set up to handle about 20 deaths a day, but during the peak of the pandemic it received as many as 200 a day, Aden Naka, deputy director of forensic investigations, tells the Wall Street Journal.

Normally, the deceased would have been buried within a few weeks in a gravesite for the indigent on Hart Island in the Long Island Sound. But as COVID-19 deaths surged in New York in April, with as many as 800 deaths in one day, Mayor Bill de Blasio pledged that mass burials in temporary graves wouldn’t take place.

The medical examiner’s office is having trouble finding relatives of about 230 deceased people, officials said. When next of kin have been contacted, many bodies haven’t been collected because families haven’t arranged burial for financial reasons, nor have they requested free burial on Hart Island.

“Supporting families and helping facilitate respectful final arrangements for individuals who passed at the height of the pandemic reflects the core mission of the Office of Chief Medical Examiner,” Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Barbara Sampson said in a statement Sunday.

The city is slowly reducing the number of bodies in storage, with the number declining from 698 to 650 since mid-September, according to Dina Maniotis, the chief medical examiner’s office’s executive deputy commissioner.

New York state has reported at least 34,187 deaths of people due to COVID-19, according to data from John Hopkins University & Medicine. And at least 6,600 residents have died in nursing homes, according to state data, which doesn’t state how many nursing home residents died in hospitals.

Yeah people think this shit is a joke. Had a co worker catch it twice. My female cousins friend caught it.....got double pneumonia and died. Now my cuz who is overweight af and is only about 37 or 38. Shit is crazy.
