I saw or read somewhere that more black people need to volunteer for these clinical trials in order to know whether or not they work on black people.


How many black people do you think participated in these trials?


If I had to bet money, I don't think it was that many..........if any at all.

And slowly medicine/treatment are popping up left and right - we have a allmost 100% succes full medicine derived from antibodies here in The Netherlands since last week - I think the meds will run parallel with the vaccines.

I know that in the states, even young people are taking flu shots yearly, but here in Europe people don't really fuck with such concepts.

I think 10 years from now, this period will be remember as a time of mas hysteria, the dark ages for the health care facilities worldwide. We're back in a partial lockdown here in The Netherlands not because the coalition/ruling political parties care about the covid deaths but because the regular care has to be guaranteed, the pressure on the hospitals is to high...

Expect countries to have a national reserve of (retired) nurses and shit on standby for whenever a pandemic hits again.

Were currently living in a world where people with cancer can't get treated/their operations postponed because the hospitals are being reserved for Corona patients...

I'll probably take it eventually. I need to start traveling for work again and I'd be at pretty high risk for contracting the virus then.

You probably right. I don't know how much of a factor that plays with this particular disease.

Only thing I don't understand is why they make those nurses stay in the pit for 12 hours when it's where they send patients to die anyway.

Unfortunately, this is NOT uncommon at all...this has become the STANDARD, written (unwritten at first) policy in hospitals across the country since around the middle of March (at least in my state, in the hospital where I *used* to work). THIS SHIT RIGHT HERE, is why I quit and now work from home.

A LOT of people who shouldn't have died, did.

I'm telling y'all...DO NOT GET SICK! Not just with COVID, but anything. Our "healthcare" system is corporate af, overburdened, poorly run and prejudiced. It's been like that for many, MANY years but COVID has *really* shown how utterly phucked up it is. They WILL let you/your loved ones die...no fux given.

I'm traumatized after seeing how poorly many people were treated or not treated at all during this pandemic. I know EXACTLY what she's feeling.

The older I get, the more I understand why old people avoided going to the doctor/hospital at all costs unless they absolutely had to.


And even then, more often than not, they'd tough it out until they got better.


Seemed crazy at first, but it definitely makes sense now.
