Does that mean the guidelines should not be followed?

Of course not.

But that’s what people try to say with this revelation.
 
Word on the streets is they are about to shut down the city again for a month. We've been steady at 500+ new cases a day for about 2 weeks. For a state that only has around a Million people in population thats big numbers. Rumor is this will just be for bars/restaurants, but thats a lot of our business around here. They shut the city down for only two weeks for dine in services and restaurants protested and just took the fines every day because they wouldnt make it through. Theres no COVID aid and it employs a LOT of people. Anchorage was already very broke before any of this pandemic mess happened. People are saying if we have to close for another month, there wont be a whole lot of small businesses left in the city. Just Wal Marts and big chains. Lot of people not paying rent already due to reduced hours. Whole thing is just a mess.
