im convinced there is no convincing these sickos in charge.

The only way they will be convinced is when that shit hits home for them. It's taking a while since they come from money and are able to avoid it better than the average American.. but they will feel it eventually if they keep this bullshit up.

You're operating under the belief that they don't believe that this pandemic is as serious as it is. They know. That's the coldest part. They just don't give a fuck. Trump says opening schools will be good for him so that's the line they push.

oh naw... I was referring to the rich assholes that know exactly how serious this is but they have the benefit of wealth so they can pretend this shit is just jokes and an overblown conspiracy, and still have some level of safety and comfort that many of us dont...

meanwhile at the same time they telling folks to get back to work at the expense of their health.

Aint serious to the rich folks cuz they can duck and dogde it... until their family is eventually affected

True, but it's deeper than race. Anyone who works for Trump is either corrupt or has to compromise themselves to keep their job. Fauci has probably done the best job at the dance, but even he was part of the mask lie, and his days seem to be numbered as the Administration is freezing him out of TV appearances now.

It wasnt necessarily a mask lie. Early on in the pandemic government and health officials were worried about a mask shortage. The general public was going out and buying em all, then there might be none for health care workers.

Plus early on no one knew it was so easily transmitted or that it would get this bad.
