I agree with everything you said except that last statement. What makes you think women and Latinos are going to need our help? More importantly, why should we help when they’ve chosen to go against their own interests?

As many have said in here, we’ve always been the moral center of the US and have always stood up for them and that shit is getting played out when it’s not reciprocated.
Good question. Because they needed it before, and in the past we gave it to them. A bunch of movements piggybacked off the Civil Rights movement since its inception. Bayard Rustin, an integral part of MLK's organization, was a gay man that shifted his focus to LGBTQ rights after MLK died. We let the feminist movement march along with us, only for them to blame us for the issues we were marching for in the first place. Weather Underground, an all white anti establishment group, were close with the Black Panthers (I named my rap group after them). They documented the crime scene of Fred Hampton after he was killed in his sleep by the feds. We all stood side by side against oppression, but those other groups didn't support us when we needed to resolve our issues. Our efforts get undermined just like in this and other threads.

I notice y'all going back and forth with @Disanthrope, that's y'all business. One thing we can all agree on is that Black ppl have no real allies. The separation there is what we decide to do about it. What Dis is saying has been the sentiments of any of us that been on the battlefield since day one. Y'all keep arguing and falling for the troll moves and not letting the message sink in. We spoke on this since the beginning of the thread... we been going thru what the rest of the country is about to go thru for 400 years. Until they come to us with a real conversation, we're done trying to fix this country. I'm not downplaying anyone's efforts to deal with this loss, and let's face it... we ALL lost, even the ones that voted for Trump.

So how are his black boot-lickers going to explain this one and how he was a better option than Harris and the Dems

And if you don’t think he is targeting HBCUs I some land on Pluto I’ll like to sell you

They needed us before because we were the majority minority in the country at the time. We not that anymore. Look at this chart. We’ll be the 4th majority minority soon, maybe even 5th.

So why would they need us?

My point is be strategic about it. Timing is important when fighting these battles, especially with declining voter power. If you not helping either side win, good luck getting things like reparations passed when you’re not putting the people in office.

People yelling and screaming like it’s the 60’s about something promised 150 years ago just seems silly when we have far more pressing issues to address right now.

You're right when it comes to the political side... you'd have to have the best interests of a selected ppl to legitimately put their demands into law. For one, we had an entire Black president and he lit the White House with rainbow colors while George Zimmerman took a kid's life because he couldn't fight and got off scott free under his watch.

Secondly, there's also the other side of politics which is in the streets. Protesting, grassroots movements, building up public figures to be community leaders... all these other groups got that from us. The difference then is they used our leaders and our cultures to fight for their causes. We been helping them win for decades to the point they use "woke" (a term coined by Black ppl) as a derogative for anyone that questions the system. The "far more pressing issues" you're talking about are not ours, and that's the disconnect here. You're gonna hear a lot of crying from ppl that had to look up "tariff" days after the election. They don't get in tune until its too late. You're right, we need to be more strategic. Helping other ppl fight their battles while the gov't still shits on us is not a good strategy.

Wait wait wait a dayum minute. I thought black folks supported the Democratic party? According to @Los216 it was a "HUGE" turnout for Kamala.

Black folks voted for her.

It's those white women and men and latino men that wanted Trump in office. It was those guys that wanted this man in office. They are the ones who need all the smoke. White Becky and White Harry, and white Hector.

Not Kisha and Jamal. They voted for Kamala.

Let's put that anger and frustration towards the white folks and latino men. Shift that anger towards those 3 groups.

Niggas wanna be mad at Niggas so bad smh lol.

According to @Los216 black folks voted for Kamala and came out to support her.

Be mad at the white women, and men at your jobs, your supervisors and coworkers who voted for Trump, not the 3-4 niggas on the boards who clown yall girl about being black and dingy lol

Be mad that Cliff at Home depot, Be mad at Carolina Katlin, and Katy at the local or university library, be mad at Lopez at Shell Station. Get at their necks

Go out and get in their faces and shit on them. Be that gangsta/warrior to those groups, white women, men and latino men

Round all them white men and women up and let them know how stupid they are, yall know yall aint go do that though lol. Yall aint got that bone in your body

Yeah I don’t want us to fight anyone’s battles, that’s for sure. I’m questioning why you think they are going to fight for us, unless I’ve misunderstood something.

And by far more pressing issues I mean for black people. People broke, violence in the streets, unfair policing, lack of opportunities, etc. But we fighting each other over something a lying government promised us 150 years ago.

LOL Trump made a fox news contributor Secretary of Defense.

The bad part is he is a 100% neo nazi that DoD removed. You know how hard it is to be removed as a officer.
