Quick rant... just want to reiterate as far as voter id and id laws go.. getting a regular id or license aint as easy as folks make it seem in some places.

went to renew my shit a little while back.. they ask you for mad shit in jersey.. Social Security Card(if you dont have it theyll look it up thankfully), birth certificate or passport, a utility bill, bank or credit card statement, your current unexpired id or license... sometimes a lease depending on what other documents you have.

Not everybody is fortunate to have ALL of that on hand. And even if you're fortunate to have all that shit.. In Jerz they dont even print them joints out at the DMV anymore for "security purposes".. they gotta snail mail it to you which can take weeks.. and if you have mail forwarding.. they wont forward that shit.. theyll return it to sender and hold it. wont even notify you unless you reach out.

Usually for a license they want proof of residence, proof of social security, and proof identification

If you're unemployed and just live somewhere then yea it might be difficult because likely not getting any bills with your name on it. If you work and live somewhere it's not difficult to get documents
