I think both are coming back to the squad for preseason alongside Saliba.

I reckon convincing them would be down to game time. I keep hearing links of arsenal selling Gabriel so that's an automatic slot for Saliba, M-N definitely wants game time but he won't be first choice RB and CM is congested so he may need to be sold. Nelson taking Pepe slot as I said before. With Europa league they'll be games to go round.
