But I tell you what because I like to practice what I preach so I'll say this in front of everyone.
Dwayne, I was wrong about Bledsoe. I was hopeful he would translate and at a minimum, carry his production from Milwaukee. It didn't work out and everything I've read suggested he's on the first train smoking.
However, I still like Adams and the way I understand the thought behind the extension makes/made sense to me when it initially happened.
With the defense not doing as well as they had hoped, that extension has lost some of it's luster but I still think he did some really good to great things for them this past season that didn't necessarily translate to showing up on the stat sheet

I bought into the vision that Griffin was trying to sell.
1. Being better on defense (SVG)
2. Having a veteran guard presence next to Lonzo that played good perimeter defense (Bledsoe)
3. Having a big who could defend and and rebound and in combination with Zion, could punish opposing teams in the paint (Adams)
I don't think any of these expectations were unrealistic.
The issue appears to start once it was clear Bledsoe was out there for cardio that SVG should've played NAW and Kira more (I'm not trying to read you shit on Kira so save the characters).
For whatever reason, SVG wouldn't bench Bledsoe. At first I thought it was because they were trying to keep the midseason trade deadline value up but once they didn't move him, I didn't understand the need to keep starting him but then Bledsoe would go out the next game and hit like 5 3s or some shit.
I think Adams was a great mentor to Hayes as well. When Hayes was knocked out the rotation, he got to just watch and learn help with his development.
