TBH there is some validity to this.
Pep from day 1 was trying to push Aguero out the door because of his supposedly lack of work ethic.
Jesus was meant to be the chosen one, but a combination of adaptability from Aguero's game and the lack of clinical finishing from Jesus to take the mantle, meant that Aguero had an extended career at City.

Pep has a history of doing this too.. Don't forget he pushed Éto'o out of Barca first season of his managerial career even though Eto'o was still banging in the goals and top scorer

This is true but I think Aguero earned Pep's respect over the years. Aguero mentioned the other day at the press conference about having lunch with Pep and him wanting Kun to only talk to Barcelona

Pep don’t treat top notch black players with respect either who doesn’t speak Spanish, especially Africans. Funny in the light like his fickle fanboys
