Sarri's biggest issue was he tried to change arguably Chelsea's two best players from the position that they're most effective, in favour of his "Sarriball".
This is dangerous especially with this group of players where they're quick to down tools at any given moment.
In order for Sarri to get the players to buy into his philosophies, it has to be shown to work consistently. And if he doesn't have the personnel then he needs to adapt his style until he does.
Look at Conte. When he came through everyone expected him to play a back 3 with wing-backs, but Chelsea had previously been successful with the 4. So rather than change things immediately, he let them play what they were used to, until GW13 or something before he decided to implement his football style.
Higuain now comes with too much pressure on his shoulders, as he's now seen as the missing cog for Sarriball to work. I like Higuain and hope he does well. But how many top strikers with big reputations have come to Chelsea and not produced the goods? Shevchenko, Torres, Crespo....Morata? there's no guarantees that he will do the business and if he doesn't and Chelsea slip out the top 4 by Challengers Arsenal or United, Sarri's going to look stupid and people will reflect on the positions he played Kante and Hazard.
Also it's not even like Jorginho is really balling like that. I've seen his passing ability, David Luiz has better range and creativity than him. In fact in terms of assists in the Premier league for Chelsea, these are the all the players above him:
1. Hazard (10)
2. Alonso (7)
3. Willian (4)
3. Giroud (4) - yet he's on the bench most of the time
5. Barkley (3) - yet he mainly comes from off the bench
6. Kante (2)
6. Kovacic (2)
6. Azpi (2)
6. David Luiz (2)
10. Rudiger (1)
10. Pedro (1)
12. Jorginho (0)
That's literally a starting line-up of players that has contributed in assists, yet this guy has over 2,000 passes!
