Bullshit. KG had total control as to where he would land after Minnesota. He CHOSE to get traded to the Cs, and that was because Pierce was there and he wanted to play with another superstar. Remember, Boston traded the whole house to bring him there after Ray Allen agreed to his trade. And let's not act like they were all in their twilight years. They were all still in their VERY early 30s - aka prime years - when all that shit went down.

I'm only addressing the bold. Normally those ages are the back end of prime years. In terms of KG though he was still very good but past his prime. That man had bad knees by time he got to Boston. Let's not make that group into something it was not. Pierce was never that athletic to begin with and Ray was mainly just a shooter who could still some games do the shit he used to do with the Bucks and Sonics.

Imagine these scenarios, if you will:

After the 1982 NBA Finals, Dr. J, increasingly frustrated at two losses to the Lakers in the Finals, decides to join Showtime in LA.

Larry Bird, beaten by Showtime twice in 85 and 87, spends his twilight in purple-and-gold, joining his hated rival...or even deciding years before that to come to Philly, after the Sixers beat the Celtics in 80 and 82.

Isaiah Thomas decides to leave Detroit and get traded to Boston for DJ, teaming up with Bird.

Your basketball god Michael Jordan, embarrassed after three straight ass beatings to the Bad Boys in 88, 89, and 90, ditches the Bulls, and runs to the Motor City instead.

Even A.I., after Reggie and Pacers smoked them out of the playoffs two straight years in 1999 and 2000, tries to get glory in Indiana, knowing he had NO HELP in Philly.

Imagine ANY one of these scenarios playing themselves out? How would you view that player? You'd clown them to oblivion.

So, why does a guy get a pass for joining the team that beat him the year before, when he had a 3-1 lead on them?

Look, no one ever said KD had to stay in OKC and work it out. It was clear him and Westbrook had ran their course. BUT, he had offers and opportunities:

He could've went to Miami to play with Wade and Whiteside.

He could've went to the Knicks with Melo and the Unicorn.

He could've skipped to Boston to play with Hortford and Rondo at the time.

Portland's backcourt with Dame and CJ would've fit him fine.

Same goes for Toronto with Lowry and Derozan.

He could've even did the noble thing and went home to DC to play with John Wall and Bradley Beal.

Any one of those moves had him on a seriously contending team.

Nope. He took the coward's way out and ran to be "in the crowd with the cool kids" in Oakland, so why should he get a pass for that?

Someone explain this.

Let ask yall a question. If any of yall played basketball growing up. When yall went to court for pick up games. Did yall pick the very best 4 players you could get or did say let me pick two good niggas and the rest some OK niggas?

I know niggas always picked the best 5 they could or brought with the best 4 friends they had. It was done because if you lost you might not get back on the court that day.

These lames traded kyrie irving for multiple players who getting dnp cd's in the finals and the 8th pick lol

Klay just said he glad he don't have to guard kyrie no more cuz he was a problem

Now everybody just stands around while lebron surveys the scene, dribbles for 15 seconds/bogards his way to the lane then kicks it out for a 3

Score: 24-7 Ohio State

Ya’ll leave that college football shit alone...that’s based off homegrown talent, so that mean y’all ain’t never got a chance...

Lmao I like how you posted this but didn’t post the year before when VY went into Columbus and made y’all yall hold that L. Or the game 3 years after that when Colt did the same...but I ain’t gon derail though

Yall care too much about these dudes on a personal level.

Idgaf whose a pussy and who is respectable.

All I wanna see is a good ball being played and the game last night was good and I enjoyed the fuck out of watching Durant do work.

Yall could keep all that other shit.
Yea people personalize shit too much keep that shit no the court..

Ray Allen was at the back end of his prime but didnt he average 26 4 and 4 the season right before he went to Boston? Those are superstar numbers.

And Garnett was a 22 and 12 guy plus one of the best post defenders the season right before boston.

And Pierce was a 25+ a game scorer right before Ray and Garnett too.

Call it what you want but those are all Elite Superstar numbers.

To me that started the team up shit. Bron took it to the next level, and then KD took it even further.

Basically, the Warriors can't be stopped

And yes they can be stopped. WE all know how lazy the CAVS are on defense. I watched those Pick and rolls. late to recover with the late man rotating to the corner against Javale McGee. Really!

Good defensive teams know who is where and where to help.

Uh.

So does that mean the process about to get all fucked up?

Niggas letting Brett Brown GM for a little...

Emmm..

these are #'s of 3 players who had the highest usages rates on their trash teams

Sonics 31-51 no playoffs

T wolves 30-52 no playoffs

Celtics 24-58 no playoffs

Easy to put up numbers on a bad team. Demarcus cousins has done it for 7-8 years

ray allen, pierce and kg all had missed the playoffs 2 years straight.Superstars lead their teams to the playoffs or at least close all 3 were in the same position declining aging stars whose teams sucked

If we traded Kyrie or not, Klay would have been saying the same thing since Kyrie is currently hurt during the finals for the 3rd time in 4 years.....Jack-ass

And Like I said this team was put together at the trade deadline..never established any chemistry during that short period of time leading to the playoffs. If we have this squad in training camp were a different team. Now if that’s enough to beat GS? Is another story...

So do y’all think Philly still in it? Lol

And if not, who does that leave Lakers? Spurs? Rockets? Lmao

I'm convinced this is what you're doing before every post. Keep this same energy in a few weeks fam. I'm gonna go with lakers or rockets

edit if philly hires david griffin as their new gm then add them to the list

Not even disgareeing with you but its players on trash teams that never come close to those numbers.

All 3 of them were elite players at the end of their primes but still in their prime.

I just want to make sure when we say declining stars its not thought about like Melo teaming up with Russ and PG13. Melo is a "declining star" but hes already trash.

Paul, Ray and Pierce were still really effective and like I said Bron and KD took it a step further but to me it started with them 3.
