Imagine these scenarios, if you will:

After the 1982 NBA Finals, Dr. J, increasingly frustrated at two losses to the Lakers in the Finals, decides to join Showtime in LA.

Larry Bird, beaten by Showtime twice in 85 and 87, spends his twilight in purple-and-gold, joining his hated rival...or even deciding years before that to come to Philly, after the Sixers beat the Celtics in 80 and 82.

Isaiah Thomas decides to leave Detroit and get traded to Boston for DJ, teaming up with Bird.

Your basketball god Michael Jordan, embarrassed after three straight ass beatings to the Bad Boys in 88, 89, and 90, ditches the Bulls, and runs to the Motor City instead.

Imagine ANY one of these scenarios playing themselves out? How would you view that player? You'd clown them to oblivion.

So, why does a guy get a pass for joining the team that beat him the year before, when he had a 3-1 lead on them?

Look, no one ever said KD had to stay in OKC and work it out. It was clear him and Westbrook had ran their course. BUT, he had offers and opportunities:

He could've went to Miami to play with Wade and Whiteside.

He could've went to the Knicks with Melo and the Unicorn.

He could've skipped to Boston to play with Hortford and Rondo at the time.

Portland's backcourt with Dame and CJ would've fit him fine.

Same goes for Toronto with Lowry and Derozan.

He could've even did the noble thing and went home to DC to play with John Wall and Bradley Beal.

Any one of those moves had him on a seriously contending team.

Nope. He took the coward's way out and ran to be "in the crowd with the cool kids" in Oakland, so why should he get a pass for that?

Someone explain this.
Lol what? @ the bolded
Rondo left the Celtics in 2014 LOL

Also, you mentioned teams that didn't have the cap space.

Literally five of the top 5 players maybe even 7 would be in the West. The league would be against that somehow someway.

Casual fans already think GS killed parity even though there has already been six different champions since 2010. So with Bron heading to a "superteam" I think viewership would be down across the board.

They'd find some basketball reason to prevent that. Silver said it's within his rights (duh) but he doesn't want to see it happen.

Bcuz Whiteside,Melo,Hortford,Dame,Lowry and Wall are all fuck niggas. They are not improvements over Russ. You make it sound like KD is a role player collecting rings. He is more than earning those rings for GS. They need that nigga and he knows it. We all see it.

Go find Ben Simmons and help him shoot 1000 jumpers a day and stop talking about Durant. Its nauseating at this point

Don't have a coach y'all need to hire? Do that first before you come on here with that bullshit.

Tell ya mans Drummond to stop practicing 3s, and work on his D so Joel doesn't clown him 4 out of 4 times next season like he did this year.

Can you remove one of those names please?

Lol KD being forced to go to subpar teams for the good of the league.

Shit is not rocket science. He went where he thought he’d have the best chance to succeed, just like the average nigga would in every day life.

Seems like Portland, Miami, and Boston were all pretty good to me.

And LOL @ all those dudes being fuck niggas, when your boy had burner accounts on Twitter defending his mental sensitivities. That sounds like the Gold Metal of fuckshit if you ask me.

Two things.. lebron feels liberated because he hears what people are saying a few years ago his presser would have been much different he is comfortable with the narrative that surround him in goat talk blah blah blah.. it gives him security...

and im hearing on sports radio and elsewhere .. HERES WHAT KD SHOULD DO... go to such and such team(then his championships would be legit) at least thats whats being intimated, man this shit is hilarious

I thought @ChicagoFigure was a Lebron stan, but Max Kellerman is on another level. I aint seen this much dick riding since Cherokee D'Ass first came in the game.

Lol now it's well lebron gonna leave because we suck but he's not even rumored to go to your team....

Far cry from

First off I never said Lebron was leaving lol

Second lol y’all can’t make me feel bad about this year’s finals this team was put together at the trade deadline, never was able to build chemistry leading up to the playoffs and fought there way to the finals to go against one of the top 5 teams ever constructed in NBA history in there second year together.

In all honesty, this was the year I didn’t have us winning regardless even if we still had Kyrie and he through a miracle stayed healthy until the finals..this golden state core roster with two years of building chemistry would be unbeatable. Winning last year’s finals was important, but Kyrie didn’t show up because he was hurt.

I remember when Vince Young got into a brawl in a strip club because someone flashed the Horns down

UT disrespeck is never tolerated

Actually they called him "cheese butt", meaning " hoe ass."

Like I've been telling you. All rings, no respect. AND HE CARES what people think about him.
