Premier League stars' crazy contracts revealed by Football Leaks: From Alexis Sanchez's £75,000-a-game bonus to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's £15m reward for loyalty, here are the extraordinary deals ON TOP of players' salaries

I assume that loyalty bonus is similar to a signing bonus in American sports.

Aubameyang is scoring goals for fun right now. Worth every penny.

the loyalty bonus is basically every season he stays of his contract, he gets some gwap...therefore incentivizing him every year like an initial sign on bonus.

The reality though is that any player who has that in their contract could argue to get it paid by x date and allow them time to still leave; alternatively the new club will roll it up and pay them the balance. Loyalty bonus was what Neymar was suing Barcelona about following his PSG move.

FIFA investigating Neymar complaint over unpaid loyalty bonus at Barcelona

Barcelona are refusing to pay a £23m bonus to Neymar's father following a contract renewal last year.

A source in Spain close to the player told us earlier this month that Neymar feels "very bad" over the withheld payment.

A FIFA spokesperson has told Sky Sports News: "The matter is pending and being investigated. As a result, we are not in a position to comment on it."

Barcelona spokesman Josep Vives previously said: "The club will not pay the bonus to Neymar's father.

"There were three conditions: the player must not negotiate his departure from the club during the month before the bonus became payable, he must demonstrate his desire to fulfil his contract, and that we would not pay out the bonus before September 1, to ensure the transfer window was closed.

"Now that we know that none of these three conditions were met, we will not honour that bonus."

Premier League: What can happen on final day of season?

There are two major issues left to be resolved in the final round of Premier League fixtures on Sunday.

Liverpool and Chelsea are hoping to claim the last of the four Champions League qualification spots.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool currently hold the position, with a two-point advantage over Antonio Conte's side.

Swansea or Southampton will fill the final relegation place, with it likely to be the Swans, who are three points and nine goals worse off than the Saints.

There are 10 top-flight matches in total, all starting at 15:00 BST.

Sunday's Premier League fixtures
Burnley v Bournemouth
Newcastle United v Chelsea
Crystal Palace v West Brom
Southampton v Manchester City
Huddersfield Town v Arsenal
Swansea v Stoke
Liverpool v Brighton
Tottenham v Leicester City
Manchester United v Watford
West Ham v Everton

With victory at Southampton, Manchester City will cap their superb title-winning season by becoming the first team in Premier League history to win 100 points.

Burnley are assured of seventh place and Europa League football next season, meaning that the majority of Sunday's games represent a tussle for league positioning and the extra prize money that comes with a higher position.

Each place is worth about an extra £2m to clubs, with champions Manchester City taking away £38.8m and whichever club finishes bottom claiming £1.9m.

Liverpool almost over the line
Liverpool are in pole position to finish in fourth place.

Chelsea's failure to beat Huddersfield at home on Wednesday and the Reds' vastly superior goal difference means Klopp's side need only a point at home to Brighton to ensure a place in next season's Champions League.

Liverpool can even finish third - if they win and Tottenham fail to beat Leicester at home.

If Chelsea are to finish fourth, they must beat Newcastle at St James' Park and hope Liverpool lose. Anything else means Europa League football for the Blues.

Swansea on the way out?
Swansea are almost certain to be playing Championship football in 2018-19.

Their 1-0 home defeat by relegation rivals Southampton on Tuesday means they occupy 18th place in the table heading into the final day, three points and nine goals worse off than the Saints.

The only glimmer of hope for the Swans is that they face relegated Stoke at home, while Southampton travel to Manchester City, who have scored a record 105 goals this season.

ABW Football Thread end of season school report:

First half of the year proved to be difficult with all the uncertainty involved with new surroundings. Gradually adjusted and made great strides during the second half of the year. Now expecting great results approaching the finals in June.

Haha yeah tale of two halves, tough fixtures after relegation, but steadied the ship and pulled off the survival... Bit like Brighton and Huddersfield's season...

Looking ahead a little bit but viewing the World Cup here in the US is going to suck. Fox has the next three and for this year’s Cup, they are calling almost every game from the TV in LA. How are you going to broadcast the biggest sporting event from in front of a TV. I wish ESPN still had the rights.
