LoD is not dramatic. GOT is like a soap opera compared to LoD which is more light hearted. They cater to two different audiences. GOT has fans who are not into fantasy and its more mature
Couple that with GOT having fans from the OG show that were ready to jump into HotD. If not for the action, then at least for the shit talking that we do with the House Wars. 75% of the GOT thread is members bombing on each other or their enemies Houses.
