They needed that scene because that’s the scene where his daughter realized her father is a gangster and she start to look at him different..

That scene actually annoyed me too, not because of the kicks though. That was funny to me. It annoyed me because it didn't make much sense. Why would he take his daughter there. He knew he was going after. He didn't need her to point him out. He didn't even take her in with him. There was no reason to subject her to that. I could see a gangster taking his son to witness that, but him taking his daughter didn't sit well with me.

Thinking that she would feel safe knowing that she could come to him if anyone were to do her any harm.

Not to derail this topic or anything, but yeah, after watching this, I don't understand how he could say what he said either honestly. I like superhero movies and crime flicks. Are we really going to act like crime flicks are that much higher in quality than superhero movies. It's more realistic violence porn too. This movie was not better cinema than something like The Dark Knight or The Winter Soldier.

Yeah chain smoking destroyed his voice. He said it's the reason why they never did another Scarface film or why he never did the voice for the Scarface video games.

Really is a shame watching all his older movies i had never seen before and I was blown away. It’s like a totally different person!
