It was solid.

I liked Casino and Goodfellas more though. As a matter of fact he has done a decent amount of films better.

I get why people are excited about it though. Lots of big stars in this and the actual subject matter with Jimmy Hoffa really catches folks eyes. But the movie didn't have to be as long as it was and some of the the CG for making folks look younger was really bad. One point in the movie I couldn't help but stare at Joe Pesci's mouth because it reminded me of Henry Cavil and the bad CG to remove his mustache. Lol. Also the fights like many have pointed out was hilarious because how stiff and old these guys are acting that shit out.

Don't get it twisted I enjoyed the flick and Deniro was great in it outside of the action stuff. I especially liked when he called Jimmy Hoffa's wife after he killed him. You could tell he felt like shit doing that to her and her family.

Movie was just aiight imo.

But Pacino just so damn entertaining and fun to watch. In one bit of the movie he manages to steal a whole scene without even speaking. It's just quick back and forth cuts of him eating a steak. I dunno I just REALLY found that shit hilarious for some reason.

Excellent movie. I liked the whole "mobster getting lonely and old" angle...much needed but the center of it and its most entertaining is the whole mob vs. hoffa.

That shit is just epic...the celebration dinner between deniro, pesci, and pacino was one of the best scenes in awhile.

Was watching Pacino’s older films and dude been screaming forever. Wonder if he blew out his voice cuz it sound completely different from when he started and it’s not from age because Deniro still sounds like his Taxi Driver days.
 
Took me a few days since but I finally finished.

Great flick... Everybody did their thing in this joint. Great acting and dialogue all around

U knew he was gonna die and it was his own fault. He was not likable at all.

The whole story of the daughter being close to hoffa but standoffish of Pesci im guessing was to show us that his daughter always knew Pesci was dangerous.... But Hoffa was a loud mouth egomaniac as well so u dont have alot of empathy for him.

lol that was a struggle kick man. It took me a while to recognize that It was just DeNiro unable to kick and not the actual character trying to be lenient.
 
Aside from the store fight smh/lol, this was a dope ass movie. Might be the best movie I've seen all year.
 
I think Tarantinos film has more replay value and higher highs.

They are similar in that they are both long as hell and explore themes of getting washed after once having the juice.
 
For the The Gawds this is their last dance Deniro, Pesci , Pacino & everyone knew it & came out To show support

Cats gave the fans one mo before they’re gone, be appreciative . Niggas wanted Deniro to kick like Van Damne lol

Don't dare compare this to they're other work for obvious reasons , I Guess U can compare this to Eddie giving his fans
