I wouldnt be surprised if this shit was something like empire where it was just an outlet for some artists to get they music shit off and add some so-so acting to it as the long form video.

There was no set plan for a multi-season story, though there were options to continue the show following the end of the five-episode season. Of that finale, Hollywood Reporter critic Lovia Gyarkye wrote that it “felt like the conclusion to an altogether different show.”
