Had to listen to the pod to get the context for this question. Dan has no beef with Stephen A. Dan himself got fooled by Ballsack sports multiple times and it has been a running joke on the show.
I can see how someone with no context of the situation would think he was taking a shot at Stephen A, but Dan was just being self deprecating.

That sucks. I know he’s looked at as a villain, but I kinda like David Samson. His approach to the game was one that saw the business for what it is: a business.
When he and skipper do south beach sessions together, it’s a must listen for me since I love sports business. It’s always interesting
