What happened to lou?
Lol
this why niggas hate New York niggas
I can't co-sign that too much. Yeah, you can live somewhere for a certain amount of time. But, it's not going to be like where you were born and raised. I haven't lived in Newark for over 20 years, but I will be the first one to tell you that it will always be home.Ain't no point in hating them. lol You just have to accept that being some degree of an asshole is inherent to being a New Yorker.
They are hilarious to me. I know niggas that were born in raise in NYC, moved down south at 18, are in their mid 40s now, and still rep NYC like they live there. It's like, nigga you've lived in ATL longer than you live in NYC. You're officially and ATLien at this point. Give that shit up.
The older I get and money I earn,
I have notice even more that all black folks in America aint the same when it comes to culture and now I hate when black folks with money say they have the same culture with black folks without it.
Small example: Like when black folks use slang words that originate in communities that dont have much and claim its their culture when in reality its not. Its no different than their white neighbor using the same exact word.
Every black person aint first generation suburbanite lol.I mean but if my parents use a word from the hood but raise me in the suburbs so I pick up the phrase is that not part of my culture.
I feel nasty wearing a skully with shades like I’m an informant
it’s probably fine but i feel gross

I feel like you’re ‘from’ wherever you spent your formative years. If a nigga spent from birth to age 18 in NY and then moved to Chicago or some shit…that nigga is from NY.
That’s a NY nigga.
Aye,
You know when you see a girl at work in passing, and notice she always dressing super baggy and in sneaks.
But then you end up being in a in person meeting with her and talk to her.
And you just being you, but being you is being me, it mean you mad charming.
And then you come to work the next day, go to the room for the meeting, and see she wearing a pencil skirt and some heels. Makeup and hair done.
I mean, it could just be a coincidence.
Or it can be yamean.
Yamean?
I got you fam. That's not really what I mean. I'm from SC, but I haven't lived there for 20+ years. I still call it home even though I think it's a shitty state all things considered. But even if I thought it was the best place in the world, I wouldn't be running around at this point calling myself a South Carolinian. That doesn't make sense. On top of that, if it was really the best place in the world, I'd still be living there. I wouldn't be living somewhere else constantly talking about how great it is there. lol
I agree with that. I'm not talking so much about where you're from, but how you currently represent yourself. If you spent your teens in NYC and that's what made you who you are, then I have no problem with you saying you're from NYC. However, if you've someplace else for the past 30 years, you're no longer an NYCer. At least to me.
It ain't you bruh, her man's taking her to Texas Roadhouse this eveningAye,

What in the hell is this malarkey? The older I get and money I earn,

The one I got was $90. If it lasts 2 years I'll be happy.I haven't gone with those because you'll always need to upgrade the tech so you'll always have to replace the watch. With a regular one you keep it until it dies. Or if it's expensive you keep it until it dies and then get it fixed lol
I got the galaxy fit2. The other ones have large faces and I didn't like that. I mostly wanted it for the Samsung health aspect and not have to have my work phone on me all the time. I hate most Apple stuff too. What kind did you get? I just got the new Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. I hate almost everything Apple but that new Apple Watch Ultra is insane but it's $800+ and that's crazy
Can you point out a specific cultural reference? Its facts.
Growing up New Orleans damn near all the black folks was on the same wave. When I got around black folks with money the wave wasnt there in all aspects.
The black culutre among the our groups are vaslty different.
Hell @King Freeman Just posted a Gif of Carlton in Will's environment and that exactly what im talking about the difference and we are not the same culture
