Like these guys will come to me with their personal stuff like "I got these strange bumps on my arm and I don't what they are" or they will text me at any hour of the day with their concerns. Even my boss was like wtf, why do your employees text you at 4am!?! When I get to work they all clamber around me info dumping and I feel like a mom who just got home from work. I don't necessarily mind being viewed that way as I'm not a huge fan of bosses myself cuz theyre mostly just bossy, I'm just worried it may affect my ability to lead and direct them somehow.When I was in the hospital the everyone working on one of the floors referred to the charge nurse on the floor as "mom". She had shit on point and she was respectful and respected by the people under her.
I wouldn't take offense or see it as a bad thing. A family type atmosphere is always the dynamic that should be strived for in most workplace situations imo. It's not ideal in some workplaces obviously.

I drink tea most times, regular coffee here and there but I like variety so I bought some decaf. This one is trash tho.
