Here is an excerpt from the Ebony Magazine article.

But perhaps his biggest break came when he was offered the part as a blackjack-dealing ex-con in the movie Ocean's Eleven. With a cast that included Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Julia Roberts, Mac, by far the novice of the group, became a household name to a whole new set of people. The movie was a huge success, but caused a riff in his relationship with his Kings of Comedy co-star Steve Harvey. As the story goes, someone representing Harvey called Ocean's Eleven director Steven Soderbergh to push for Harvey to get the part over Mac. "The Hollywood game that we are in, it's a cold game," he says of the person who tried to convince Soderbergh that Harvey was more popular and a better actor. "And the sad thing about it is all of us are doing well, so I don't really see the problem. It didn't bother me because I see the big picture. When
they told me about it, what could I do? I'm not going to sling mud. I'm not a rapper. I tell jokes. I try to make people laugh.
I'm not going to sling mud. Steve and anybody else can say whatever they want to say. Ain't nobody got no control over me.
I have the control." source

Katt was saying some things that probably was true but he was also saying a lot of nothing. Another thing I didn’t understand was when he said Steve stole the idea of the Steve Harvey show from Mark Curry who had hanging with Mr Cooper which could be true. But from my understanding didn’t all family shows in the 90s have the same concept like seriously all those shows were literally the same show just with a black family or a white family and they just tweaked a little bit.

I love katt and I been a fan long enough to know to take EVERYTHING he say with a grain of salt lollll. You can't call him a liar but you never really know how much of the story is actually true.

I ain't finish the whole episode but 1 story i know is facts was the one about Steve tryna cut Bernie out of the oceans movies. It was even worse cuz Steve was all at Bernie's funeral acting like they was the best of friends.

One more thing was there supposed to be a kings of Comedy part 2? Because I don’t understand how he said he turned it down. Nobody knew katt in the 90s that comic view clip was the first thing I seen him in during the 90s. Everybody that was in Kings of Comedy was already successful with movies or a TV show and house hold names so who was his replacement?

The snake shit Steve did to Bernie should lead you out of any confusion about what he had to say about Steve stealing from mark curry since it's known fact.

You're looking for roadblocks lol. Katt gave you information that was already there and talked about amongst the public before.
