People that aren’t from the state don’t understand that certain areas are way different from other areas.

The 757 area and northern VA have a whole different way of life as opposed to southern VA and western VA. Southern and western VA are most definitely super southern. There are confederate flags and openly racist folks all down in those areas.

The 757 and northern VA areas are a melting pot due to the large military and government jobs in those areas.
 
What holidays do Asian people celebrate? And I’m not talking about Asian Americans who have assimilated into American culture so of course they may observe regular holidays and shit.

I’m talking about the Asian people that run the nail shop, Asian food spots, hair spots and shit like that. To where they are still very much into Asian traditions.

America at the very little least recognizes Ramadan sorry if I spelled that wrong, black history month, MLK birthday, Passover. Stuff that’s not of the pseudo typical Murcia basic..what ever what I mean to say is I’m not tryna offend no one.

But what Asian holidays are there that y’all know of?

In major cities with large Asian communities they celebrate each countries holidays amongst their groups.

I know a few Japanese holidays because I lived out there for awhile. They had the coming of age celebration where the females at certain ages wore their Kimonos and did other stuff throughout the day. Japanese New year and respect for the aged day are the o lot ones I remember.

Chinese New Year but they don’t take off.

I don't know bruh. 757 is mixed to some extent, but it has a pretty big concentration of black people too. You don't really see that in this country much outside of the South and some isolated cities like Detroit.
