yea, that was such a shot at amber rose it was crazy..lmaoooooooooooo "did u notice she's a bird?"
where did you get that impression from?
first names or last names?A lot of my students have hyphenated last names.
I don’t like that.
Last.first names or last names?
sign of the times... mad women don't like taking dudes last names no more.....Last.
Wait Nuh. Is given the child a hyphenated name really a thing now. I know in some cultures they add the last name on to the name so they can trace lineage but that is different.sign of the times... mad women don't like taking dudes last names no more.....
so they hyphenate......and they don't wanna give the kids a dude full last name, so they hyphenate that shit too.....
but i ain't gonna say any more on it in fear of coming of as misogynistic
Yeah it is a lineage thing. Also done in African countries.my girl @EleanorDeWitt says its common in Spanish speaking countries to hahve the last names from both sides
This. Just give that baby the dads last name.if it's a cultural/lineage thing all props and honor given to thee...
but if it's that "why i gotta take a man name?" shit....
:smh:
word, one of the best things my mother ever did was give me her last nameI am with @King Du on this. If the couple is married there should be no reason for the child to have a hyphenated last name. Now in cases where they are not married or even in a committed relationship it gets a little messy.
Well my case is messy. My mother never divorced her husband so I ended up with her married name. Her husband is not my father and they had separated two years before I was conceived. All my life I wanted to change my name to her maiden name and it became a real problem for me when I got married and gave my son the last name. I just view it as his lineage last name starts with me.word, one of the best things my mother ever did was give me her last name
