In 2017 people still telling people they are going to get robbed on sight. You can get robbed in yout hotel. I am not saying for two women to by roaming around Kingston at midnight but you should go. If getting robbed was happening like that to everybody I Wouk tell people to never step foot on my island or don't go to east New York when you come to Bk.

I think us being alone was a factor. He said we look like tourists and people would try to get us. I figured he knew what he was talking about because he's from there.

Some islands have beaches that only locals go to. They don't promote them to tourist. Back home we would love the days when there were no cruise ships and stuff because it was better to be there without tourist.

did you get to know local women? u might be able to figure out how to look less touristy from them. u cant help ur accent but u can stick out less in other ways

She is going to look like a tourist. There is no way to get around that. That is not a disrespectful thing at all but she can't change her look or ways like that.

Only women we met were the women who were working at our resort. They were hella nice.

On the streets or beach though, it was an over abundance of men.

I was thinking more in terms of style. Like wearing an American sports team's t-shirt or something (doubt she does but as an example).
