She didn’t ask for the PR - it came to her.

What I’m saying is that she made decisions for decades that have allowed folks to poke holes in her story and make her look stupid.

But from the shit I’ve read, women don’t always have the most perfect straightforward reaction to being sexually assaulted.

They may not behave how you think they should behave. They may not do things that are perfectly logical. The press may be able to rip them to shreds by pointing out inconsistencies. None of that means that they haven’t been victimized.

I agree she should tell her story; corroborate it and it should be investigated. But there is already quite a bit of corroboration that exists.

We should be able to cut through the spin and stop questioning her motives or timing in speaking out - and look at the evidence on both sides.
 
I actually just heard what she said happened. Said she took him a gym bag and he pushed her against a wall and stuck his hand up her shirt and up her skirt. When she recoiled he relented and said something like “you’re done!” or some shit like that.

I don’t know Joe outside of what’s been put out publicly, but I’ve known niggas in the 90’s that got down like that. Hell, ain’t this exactly what Trump said he does? Just walk up to them and grab them by the pussy? I don’t know what would make a nigga believe that was cool in any era, but that shit happened back then and even after.

This isn’t a defense, just acknowledgment of just how fucked up things were.

I agree to that in principle. Although in fairness in this case it’s she said and 5 other people said it too - one of whom said so in a court case in 1993.

Man something telling me this is going to be a real fucked up election.

Biden got all these sexual assault allegations against him. Then we got a President in Trump that's held bent on re-opening the country regardless of who dies.

What I don't understand is why have Biden's accusser come out after nearly 30 yrs in the middle of an election year? Why not do that shit during the time around '08? Something isn't right about that whole situation to me and it smells like somebody in Trump's circle is paying off that woman.

Trump isn't concerned about the peoples safety & health because he's basically cashed in his Presidency on having a strong economy. He thinks the governors are running a conspiracy against his bid for re-election by not re-opening states. Although new cornavirus cases have increased in some states by re-opening so early.

She told everyone she knew 30 years ago. Including her ex-husband who literally spoke on it in the transcript of a court case under penalty of perjury.

According to her she told Biden’s staff about the misconduct but wouldn’t go as far as the sexual assault. According to her and her colleagues at the time she was essentially fired and retaliated against for speaking out.

That might explain someone being hesitant. A tenured US senator is a very powerful person...

She tried to tell her story to the media years ago. They all ignored it and dismissed her claims.

I get where you coming from. But it’s easy to look up and say “where did this come from? and why now?” but how much of the story have you actually looked into.

I agree with you - this election is fucked up, tho.
