What is “annoying” are the actual sacrifices millions of us will have to make for generations by being complacent.

If Joe Biden actually supported important progressive policies and put progressives in power I would enthusiastically vote for him and campaign on his behalf.

Why is it unreasonable to ask him to do that? What is standing in his way?

Does HE want Trump to win? Is he not willing to do everything in his power to prevent that from happening?


So Progressives compromise EVERYTHING and the Democratic Party compromises NOTHING.

Now I can’t even fight for the actual policies that affect people’s lives?

If you dont see differences that are day and night, idk what to tell you.

And in 4 years, dems will be even more left leaning.

Shit is a process. Yall wanted it to happen today. It didnt. But alot of progress has been made.

At this point saying ill only vote for Biden if he transforms into Bernie over night accomplishes nothing.

Fam - it hasn’t changed nearly enough.

And guess why it changed at all?

Its because 4 years ago, a guy started a movement and he didn’t back down like the establishment commanded him to.

And people just like you were saying the exact same thing that you are saying now:

“Calm down, just take what we are giving you”

We got this small amount of change because we demanded it. And Joe Biden as he is currently is the OPPOSITE of change.

What are you going to do when all we have done in 8 years towards climate change is rejoin the Paris Accords and levied a pathetic Carbon Tax?

We have 10 years to massively attack climate change before the earth reaches and inflection point on an irreversible trajectory towards uninhabitablity.

Should we just be patient and wait then?

Healthcare costs in the US are 2X more expensive than every other country with Universal HC and costs are rising 6% per year and our drugs are in some cases 10X more expensive than any other country.

Why? Greed.

500,000 /yr people go bankrupt because of healthcare. 40,000 people die, unnecessarily

In 15 years, the average cost of Premiums will be $50,000 with no end to the rising costs in sight.

Median Income is $48,154... Wages have been stagnant for 40 years.

I know I know - let’s just be patient.

No one is asking Biden to transform into Bernie Sanders. Bruh - that is the King is Straw man arguments.

But the question is - do you care about anything at all in society? Or is this just a partisan exercise for you.

You're fighting this fight with the wrong person my guy.

Like I said, I was a socialist before socialism was cool. Before 2016. I dont need to give my family history but my fam had to escape a country and move to the US cause my pops was bout to get killed by the govt cause being a socialist got you killed there.

So i been in and around all this way before most of yall. Idk your history, but most mfers that are now socialists only became socialist in 2016.

So lets not go down the do you know this, or do you care bout society path.

Here is what im saying, as a life long socialist, the conversations that are being had by the dem party are more than I ever thought was possible.

Again, some of yall only comparing 2016 to now cause thats when yall woke up and got in this.

Im looking back at 2000, 2008, 2012 and the progress made by dems is huge.

And its all thanks to bernie.

Alot of Bidens platform in 2020 would have got him called a communist in 2008.
1. raise minimum wage to $15 2. Free 2 year colleges 3. Cap campaign finance 4. Expand ACA. ACA was called socialism in 08. now expanding it is considered light.

So much has already changed. And even more will change by 24. All thanks to Bernie.

Yall new mfers keep thinking everything should happen now. People like me thats been socialists before socialism was cool are still shocked this much has already happened even.

Biden's campaign is retreading McCain's but with Democrats. He's a seasoned statesman/moderate with very minimum enthusiasm (showing in his struggle to raise money) and is on the cusp of appointing a woman as VP. It doesn't help with this pandemic either.

Does anybody really believe if bernie would have won that he wouldve began this massive outreach towards moderates? Please.

If I was in bidens shoes this would be me:

I had told you before older folks and black folks generally older who do a lot of voting don't vote for socialism they grew up in a time where it was told it was bad you can look at that from about the 40s into the seventies, maybe 80s

And I agree with that. It is one of the aspects of them being lesser informed voters as a whole.

Eh many ppl made it to US to escape communism and see socialism as the first step in that direction. It is a warranted concern.
