It's divisive because he's generalizing a whole industry, it swells on ignorance because YOU dont know how a company actually runs and it's meant to cause a negative reaction because it gets Retweeted faster and further. You're emotionally embroiled and WANT something to be mad at I get it. Bernie Sanders didn't win and you hate it. Can't help you there. If it were actually like that I would comment on it but again I'm not going to get embroiled in some bullshit online because misery needs company. The dude is an idiot and unfortunately on social media there's a lot of them.
I have no dog in this fight but again I'd rather do my own research and come to my own conclusion. There are good and bad apples to everything. They're not trying to give companies free money to fuck off, they're trying to prevent or at least slow the impact of an impending recession. For the feds if more people get laid off and have bills to pay they're gonna look somewhere for a job and that means they may be out and about in a time where they want people inside to prevent the spread of a potentially life threatening illness.
Cool. Yeah we fundamentally disagree.
This has nothing to do with Bernie Sanders.
But the fact that you dismiss the very REAL reason that tens of millions of Americans are “mad” it’s telling.
PS - This didn’t start a week ago. Their anger has been growing for over 40 years... Bernie just acknowledged it and acknowledged the tangible, justified reasons behind it.
Something you are apparently unwilling to do.
Even still - does someone’s “anger” somehow justify the abhorrent actions on the part of a corporation?
This is the definition of deflection, fam.
I’m Still not sure why you insist this gentleman is an “idiot”. When he is one of the most accomplished and experienced professionals in his industry. Perhaps it’s because you disagree with him or because he pointed out something inconvenient about a company you have respect for.
I would simply ask you to conduct this “research” on the United States healthcare industry.
Be sure to cite plenty of empirical data and studies that have been conducted. Analyze cost and revenue and profit and quality of care.
Take an objective look at the behaviors of actors in this system and bear in mind the purpose of a rational healthcare system.
I look forward to your impartial conclusions
