Nothing will happen. That company will just file for bankruptcy, no one will go to jail and that family might get a way smaller settlement. A clear example is that massive fire in Cali that burned down that whole town and killed i think a few dozen people. The energy company was 100% at fault and the executives walked away with all the money they made, while the company went under and filed for bankruptcy from the lawsuits.
