Def putting sugar on it, gotta have it.. I dont think its just some country shit either because I saw them talking about it on Food network before to neutralize the bitter taste.

I've actually seen 2 or 3 professional chefs say putting sugar in your tomato sauce helps fix the bitter tomato taste and recommended it and honestly there is a major difference even with just a small amount.
