A phone is everything to these kids. He took it away because he had to, the first student whooped up on him for doing it, this broad hit him with pepper spray.
He ain't the problem, it's the kids addiction to these goddamned phones.
I'd love to see a return to phones that don't do shit but call, maybe text, and the occasional picture.

I feel like we're missing a big problem here. These kids really think that assaulting teachers is an ok response to a disagreement with the teacher. These kids have no respect for authority. Sometimes you're going to disagree with what the teachers do, but the fact that pepper spraying a teacher is even an option that popped into that girl's mind is wild.
I would hit a kid my first week of teaching that high of a grade
